Some forms of strength are easy to recognize. Others are quieter.Megumi, meaning 'grace' or 'blessing' in Japanese, is a reflection on the courage to remain open-hearted. It is inspired by the kind of strength that doesn't harden with experience, but instead chooses to stay curious, compassionate, and fully alive.Composed from scanned roses, irises, mimosa, and gladioli, this piece explores the balance between vulnerability and resilience — a recurring theme throughout Studio NoBu's work. Together, they create a composition about keeping the heart open without losing oneself in the process. The palette of vibrant magentas, soft violets, warm amber tones, and deep greens mirrors this tension. Delicate floral forms are layered with movement and digital distortion, creating a dialogue between softness and structure, emotion and restraint. As with all Studio NoBu works, Megumi seeks harmony where opposites meet.Printed on 100% silk satin, the artwork shifts with every fold, knot, and gesture. Different details emerge depending on how it is presented, allowing the piece to continuously transition.🌸 Collector's NotePart of the Studio NoBu Hanami Summer '26 Collection.Only 300 pieces of Megumi will ever be produced.Once sold out, the design will permanently retire.Created as a response to overproduction and disposable fashion, each piece is intended to be collected, worn, and lived with.
