Hibiki, meaning "echo" or "resonance" in Japanese, explores the moment where intensity softens into harmony.

Built from scanned florals layered with distortion, transparency, and shifting tones, this piece reflects one of the core ideas behind Studio NoBu: finding balance where opposites meet.

This composition brings together daisies, morning glory, and carnations — flowers chosen not only for their form, but for the emotions they represent through Hana Kotoba, the Japanese language of flowers. Electric yellows dissolve into saturated pinks and softened violets — a palette inspired by sunset light, heat rising from the ground, and flowers suspended between fragility and structure.

Printed on 100% silk satin, Hibiki was designed as an object that transforms with its wearer. Folded, tied, draped, or displayed, different parts of the composition emerge over time — allowing the piece to shift continuously between garment, memory, and art object.

🌸 Collector’s Note:
This design is part of the Studio NoBu Shizuka Summer 2026 Collector Drop.
Only 300 pieces of Hibiki will ever be produced. Once sold out, the design will permanently retire.

Created as a response to overproduction and disposable fashion, each piece is made with intention — designed to be kept, worn, revisited
